Well i've just done a reinstall on everything on a pc, and I was wondering, how do you get the manufactured and supported information to appear in system properties, like it does when you get an OEM computer from a large manufacturer.

I've done it before a few years ago so I know it's doable, but I've clean forgotton, and google doesn't seem to give me much luck

(Although to be fair, i'm probably typing rubbish into google. I've had a fair bit of coffee tonight)

Any ideas? I really wanna get this done by 9am in the morning, and also get some sleep.

    Thanks

    - Andy

EDIT: Forgot to mention i'm looking for this in XP. :D

Ahhhh that explains it...I need more coffee...being dopey...and twitchy

Anyway, the closest I got beforehand on google was for Windows 95 in system, as opposed to system32

Never occured to me to use system32 :wallbash:

    Thanks for that guys :thumb:

You can also change that stuff using X-Setup, the old version 5.7 is still free. Under 'OEM Branding' and you can also change the image.

    Version 6.1 was still "freeware"?

Unfortunately though... whatever was the last free version... it's no longer available for download :(

The download file only contains a readme text doc, with the following statement:
