    picked up sale leaflet from local maplin and they have reduced bare cold cathodes+inverters from 12.99 - 7.99 got all 5 colours in stock too! "N50AN - N54AN"
    Also got some 450W PSU @ 29.99 - I'll stick to my enemax though.

    thanx for the info, surely regarded as news though?
    anyway u can get 550 W PSU from somewer for £30 too, unless thats an enermax I wouldnt bother, hehe!!

    Cheap Cathodes

    I don't know if the quality will be as good as other cathodes, but some of you might like to know that maplin are doing 30cm cathodes for £7.99 for the next month.

    these come with invertors etc. pity the one i bought is broked. something wrong with the invertor. if i touch one of the contacts on the bottom its fine :sigh: and its kinda wierd! if i do that, its great!

    Picked up a black cathode 1st one was broken 2nd looks to be ok. Can someone please tell me how I hook one of these things up? I'm a total newbie when it comes to cold cathodes.

    what is the point of a black CC ? what exactly do they do ?

    also, are these offers available in store? because if so, they would be much easier to get broken eh ? :)

    oh, and does that mean these £8 one come with an inverter ? because the inverter on the website has been discontinued!

    yeah all you need is a molex connector to wire the invertor to and bobs your uncle.
