i tried ordering the 50 ohm Rheostat – FX97F, from maplins today and they dont have it anymore so i was wondering wether anyone knew of any replacement parts for it.... any help would be appreciated...
ok, maplin gave me the same **** about cold cathodes, they said they have been discontinued, and they will no longer stock em, but after rigorous arguments, i made them look into their computer system, and they done a search of all maplin stores in UK to see if any had the cathodes, and vwalaa, grimsby had 174 cold cathodes, so i purchased loads for me and my friends, go and nag them to search stock of other maplins, and get them delivered. or you could try finding the same part at rapidelectronics. happy moddin.
i could not even get shrinkwrap from my maplins they said it was discontinued so i kicked up a stink and they told me ( fly might be able to confirm this ) that maplins had lost one of there suppliers and were looking for another supplier and a;ll the stuff would come back in stock after they sort it so maybe the stock we all use will come back in sorry about any spelling errors but i am a bit pissed
