So what started out as an amusing post has descended once more into a "them and us" thread. Well done. :|

Everyone has their opinion on this. And my opinion is that (As a Brit), I'm sick of seeing the same old muck being raked over whenever a US centric post is made. I can only imagine what our US readers must think, let alone our US based mods and staff. Especially when the argument lowers itself to a personal level, as I've seen it done on several occasions in the past.

I'm closing this thread. And I will close any other thread like this that I find. Bush got re-elected, with a popular mandate as well as an electoral collage majority. Enough has been said on this topic. Just deal with it, like everyone else has to.
