which model would i use for displaying hdd activity, music and other extracuricular things? like my case theme name would i use a LCD or VFD? i need some help here thx! Tim
Any of thier models will do what you want them to do. You just have to set up the software to display the stuff on the LCD. Read through the LCD FAQ for more info on LCDs/VFDs and the software that controls them.
An official bought MO will include a copy of LCDC, that will do almost anything you can think of. If you have the cash i'd go for the 4x20 VFD, USB version.

yea all those prices at e-compuvision are more expensive even if you go through MO directly....hell you could get a 4x20 inverse blue display and save $25 if you go through MO heh

are there any extras i should get? i need some help with that please it's just for my case at room temp 5v power cable? it's going in a custom spot also into my 2 floppy bays to be looked at from the front. Thx GUYS! Tim
most lcds conenct into one of your serial ports in the back...some use USB ports...also...if it uses USB, you could get a internal usb connector so you dont have to mess with wire coming out of your case
