I'm currently running a Matrox P650 here at work. I got this card because it was the cheapest dual DVI card available at teh time (and by £3 still is from teh 6600 vanilla). It's 2D is great, and 3D is good enough for a bit of Q3a or UT2k4 in my lunch. ;)
Their PowerDesk software is quite nice too. Allows window docking, and shading.

Other cards running in the office include 3xG450 (dual VGA) and 2xG550 (dual VGA).

These new cards look great if you can just keep adding them for monitors += 2 at a time. They are perhaps priced a little high, but there's no competitor atm so...

thinks back to the days of the g200 then g400 then g550...i think the most important thing to rember is that these are made for 2D quality and i still think there is a pretty huge difference between a matrox and a modern ati/nvidia card...thats just my 2p worth of experience though...

    /me feels old...
