Hi, It's single, and the cassette holder was an option when it was new i believe. I expect you could fit a double din stereo but would require a bit if cutting. There's no fade on the interior light, it's either on or off. However there's a green light under the steering column that stays on after you shut the door and comes on when you lift the handle.
hmmm how very interesting.. im planning on putting a sony m8800 headunit with a lilliput motorised touch screen in the front. could be interesting.... theres a green light under the steering column? urgghhh thats going to have to be changed. lol.. thanks so far silver shamrock!!!
also quick couple mroe questions as you appear to be the only one with the mx3..... does it have remote central locking and an alarm? which side is the petrol cap on electric boot latch or key'd? looking at ur pictures it doesnt look like there are many buttons for anything in the centre console :S rough dimensions of boot? poss pics of back seats of ur car? whats the black button between the 2 heater vents do? hazard lights perhaps? think there the only niggly things that are stopping me getting one of these.. everything else is nice.
if your going with a touchscreen, are you getting a computer? may as well ditch the head unit, id rather do that then cut the dash
Hi, No, mine doesn't have remote locking or an alarm. They may have after the '94 revision tho. Mine has the old key central locking and an aftermatket immobiliser. There is a remote boot release yes. It's on the floor between the driver seat and door. The fuel cap release is next to it. The fuel cap is the passenger side. There is a lack of buttons on the center console yes. Apart from the heater controls theres the front fog lights and lighter and thats it. The hazard lights, and window demister buttons are just under the instrument panel. The electric sunroof button is next to the interior light along with map reading lights for both driver and passenger. The electric windows buttons are on the doors and the electric mirrors, rear fogs and dashboard dimmer buttons are to the right of the instrument panel. The button between the middle vents would be for air-con if it was fitted. This was an option that very few original owners too up! I'll take a pic in the morning of the rear seats. I'll also measure the boot space A few more things worth mentioning. The warning chime for leaving the lights on or opening the driver door with the key still in ignition means you'll do neither within a few days of owning it. It is the loudest and most annoying sound ever lol Although the ariel is not electric, it's just above the diver door and can be easily pulled up or down whilst driving. There is a mini glove box on the driver side The intermittent wiper control has about 10 different speeds If theres anything else i can think of or you want to know anything else you need to know before making your decision i'll be happy to help anyway i can. EDIT The green light under the dash doesn't stay on all the time if thats what you thought i meant? Oh and forgot to mention that because you don't see many about when you do you'll usually get a flash or a wave
I say, if its a V6, get it. Not that it's the because its a V6 as opposed to the I4, it just sounds cooler. If I recall correctly, the Mazda MX3 Precidia has the lowest displacement on a V6 engine. Its pretty cool for bragging about having a car like that! Hey, quick question, over there in Europe, is insurance more expensive for a red car than a car of other colors, even if it was the same car?
your a legend!!! i love you... yeh pretty convinced will get one in the next couple of months.. would be sooner but my car died and i need a car sooner than later.
