Theres a bloke at work who has done it and he said it was easy mind you he did 6 months of studying before he took the test. Shame he still doesn't know much about using 2K the other day I had to show him how to change a drive mapping.

The server and workstation exams are easy if youv've got a good knoweledge of windows.... but a couple of weeks (months depending on the amout of time you've got to spare will certainly help)

it's the networking ones you've gotta worry about....

Oh and if anyone asks the 4th layer in the OSI model is transport (usually IP in a windows network)

(got asked that at a job interview yesterday ... to which I replied "who know's... that's one of them usless facts you need to know to pass your MCSE... to which the intervewer replied... yep... but I always ask..)

Server and Pro exams are pretty easy if you learn the material. Just make sure you learn it well and dont just learn it to pass the exam, learn it because you want to know it.
Ive done 5 of the exams including the management exam making me and MCSA and 2 more for MCSE. Even though I am supposedly a qualified MS admin I would only say it gives you a good level of knowledge of it all it doesnt make you an expert by any means. You have to put in all the extra work for that making your own lab scenarios and experience on the job etc etc.
I recently went on a course after doing the core exams and as he was going through the new stuff he would recap on the stuff we had already done and I could answer virtually all the questions while the others only had half a clue and they had supposedly passed all teh exams! Fat lot of good they would be on the job. I think Herbs give a good example above.
Try and do as much further study as you can as they dont really go into too much detail on some subjects. Especially stuff like subnetting which I had to read the first few chapters of a CCNA book to get my ehad round that.
Anyways good luck with it all Im sure you will be ok. I just wish I started that young, mind you though I didnt get my forst computer till I was 19 :D
