after having a little look over the case its very nicely made and solid as. The top cover is a solid sheet of 3.5 or 4mm brushed alloy, Front panel is 3.5 or 4mm brushed alloy also, Frame and inside parts are 1 to 1.5mm alloy, sides are solid as heatsinks.

    Size is:430 (W) x 145 (H) x 450 (D) mm
    Weight: 11kg

1 cool thing is you can install 1 90mm fan in 1 of the top round holes as a backup fan for if your system gets to hot.

1 thing i think i will remove is the 4 x Stereo RCA plugs and 1 x SCART. and install sumthing new in there.

Thay are a very costly case but to be honest after looking at it and getting 1 i see were the money goes. Its Lian li quality.

Yeh read the review on the other smaller 1. the cpu cooler looks as good as mine looks. Needs sum lapping. Also this case hasnt got plastic parts in it like the micro version.

The internal Scart connector cable connects Hauppauge WinTV cards with the Scart plug on the backside of the HFX chassis.

The connector cable is compatible with the Hauppauge WinTV cards PVR-150, PVR-250, PVR-350 and PVR-1300. For the use with the PVR-500 you need to cut away 3 not used pins on the plug of this scart connector cable

It provides an easy connection to other video sources like DVD player or Video recorders. The Scart connector on the backside will work as a Video-In or Video-Out for the HFX.

    Specification:
Connector for Hauppauge WinTV cards for Video-IN
Connector for Composite or S-Video for Video-OUT
    Connector for internal Audio

    Scart cable: http://www.mcubed-store.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=38_47&products_id=126

The other audio ports have 4 pin plugs on the RCA plugs, 2 pins per socket red and black. so the cable should be 4 wires 2 red 2 black.

What are the audio cables that you use on the cd/dvd drives? arent they 4 pin?

    SCREEN RAPE!

When my Yuraku seems small it's a bit of a hint that the image might need resizing.

What do you think about water cooling this case?

Using a Kit or a own made kit? Using a 5.25" bay reservoir or a 3.5" bay reseroir installed in the rear 3.5" bay in the case? and get a small pump and single 92mm radiator.

    Pump like this : http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=201&products_id=4508

    Reservoir like this one: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=318&products_id=25686

Or a 3.5" version like this one: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=318&products_id=4491

92mm Radiator like this one: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=336&products_id=22274

And use a nice cpu water block. sumthing like this: http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...=product_info&cPath=498_199&products_id=25247

Why limit yourself to a 92mm radiator?

Would a 2x120mm radiator fit on the top panel, in the same way the the fans already are fitted just further towards the front?

The 3 top holes are 92mm holes. Only 1 hase holes for a 92mm fan. The fans arent in the right spots to install a dual 92mm rad or triple 92mm rad if there is even 1 made. But then again you could just cut the 92mm fan holes out and install a daul 120mm rad and radgrill.

Or would 2 92mm rads linked be better 1 on each hole then they would line up with the holes in the top?

I meant that you could possibly cut new fan holes for a 2x120mm rad further forward than the current 92mm holes and behind the front drives and power supply.

    na, forget install a rad.

I would find a few water blocks and mount them to the fat aluminium profile much like standard heatpipe configuration, but more points of contact.

    Then run it that way.

mmmm yeh that would be interesting would be good because I wouldnt have to have any fans on the rad's. Use the big heat sinks as the cooler.

Just did a fast photoshop of the case with a mobo and watercooling in it.

Big Block on the left is a water block thats bolted to the big heatsinks also with thermal paste.

What you all think? Would it work?

yeh was a fast photoshop bend woudnt be that teight in real life. :) The pump would be on the bottom of the case and the res in the top 5.25" bay. but after thinking and looking at it I was thinking that the res would be better on the left because on the right its got the psu right under it. Mite get a bit of heat from that on that side.
