As I understand it, pain scales with the number and density of nerve endings affected. Because the bottom of your foot has a low density of nerve endings, your brain can't really tell how bad an injury is. It errs on the side of caution and standing on a plug feels like you've just had your whole foot torn off. A pinprick in your finger, where density of nerve endings is incredibly high, having evolved to detect lasered keycaps in an instant, doesn't hurt all that much. The same pinprick in your back or the bottom of your foot feels like a knife wound.

    [/potentially incorrect science]

I'm STILL waiting on my keyboards >.<

    I and Y rhyme - that's probably it.

You have no idea how hard that was to type.

Margon; I've fired you off a PM, don't know if you've got it?

jinq, Yslen, anyone else - PM me you address and whichever colour and length you want and I'll get them off (probably after the weekend) presently.

That would also explain my total lack of eBay-sourced keyboards... although my postie has been doing rounds as normal.

Yeah, he might still have some mail to deliver but, if some distant sorting office is on strike, your postie cannot deliver what has not received.
