Yeah, that is imsto's taobao store. Better to contact them directly though. Otherwise you will have to deal with a taobao agent, which adds 10% to cost. It would be a lot more convenient for international if they did set up their own shop independently.
Seems that qtan also offers this service, but you have to buy 50 of same design. :(

Is anyone in the Uk interested in the Hammer & Sickle GB? It ends today and it would be good to split shipping costs :D

You always come to my rescue for things, thank you sir! :D
    PM'd.

Anyway, to the rest of you, I'm off to school in a few minutes and after that it's to the hospital! When I get home, it's straight to Ebay and a Noppoo with blacks!
    So, very excited!

Ok ladies, I have ordered 15 of the Russian cap, 15 black on white Pi keys and 15 white on black Pi keys. I will be selling them off once they are here, all profits will go to Geekhack.

Good move mate! Goodness knows GH needs all the funds it can get, might actually stop these rollbacks

Right guys, time for a bit of gaming-style keyboard talk now, as I know there are the purists on here who laugh in the face of Razer, etc. ;)

On a more serious note, I am looking to get hold of a new mechanical keyboard to use alongside my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. I went over to geekhack, and was pleasantly surprised to see that they actually rate the Blackwidow very highly, so I was looking through a few more of their pieces there and am now umming and erring over a couple of models. I'm after a keyboard that is backlit, so the following options sprung up in my research.

    - Mionix Zibal 60 - Uses Cherry MX Blacks.
    - QPAD MK-85 - Uses Cherry MX Reds.

I was wondering if anyone here has used Black and Red switches, and can give an idea of how each compare for gaming. It seems both blacks and reds are "gaming"-compatible, but I was wondering how different the two are in terms of usage. Does one cause more tiredness, for example? Can I rest my fingers on the keys when not pressing down?

Bear in mind my only switch reference so far has been the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate that I own, and that uses Cherry MX Blues.

All switches are gaming compatible, just a matter of taste.

I'm currently using a board with blacks, and I really like it, this is coming from a board with blues, and before that a board with reds, and before that blues again....

Both of those boards are relatively decent, nothing special, but hardly rubbish.
Blacks and reds feel very similar, only difference being the amount of force required to actuate them :)

OK, well do the blacks/reds allow you to rest your fingers on the keys without causing them to engage? Reason I ask is obviously in gaming that can be a hell of a problem if it's not possible. :)

Which do you feel most comfortable with?

I have the Mionix Zibal (for 2 days) and am really enjoying it, the blacks feel fantastic and you can indeed rest your fingers on them without activating as I do in Diablo 3

Yeah blacks are nice in the way they push your finger up on every keypress, you can just bounce and float your way across the keyboard.

People that have spent a long time with browns and blues and reds tend to get tired when switching to blacks (not always the case but often) generally if you touch type, and are a light typist.

Reds are much like blacks, very easy to bottom out and very easy to do typos especially if you hit the key not dead on - even the lightest touch on a neighbouring key usually results in an unwanted keypress. I haven't experienced what most people say about resting fingers resulting in keypresses, never had that happen to me at all!

Blacks made my hands hurt after a long gaming session, not every has this issue. You can rest your fingers on the keys but I have heard that this isn't the case with reds.... no first hand experience though!

I did find with reds that sometimes if I rested my fingers on the keys, websites would suddenly scroll like crazy because I was pushing tab without realising it :p

I have enjoyed all switches I've tried (blacks, reds, browns and blues), I've needed a short getting used to period, but then I've been fine.
You really want to be able to try them out so you can see how heavy they are, since to me, blacks aren't that heavy at all having used them for a couple of weeks now, however I felt the same way with reds after I got used to them, presumable due to my fingers just getting a lighter touch.

Ah, awesome to know! Thank you. :) It seems the Reds are quite rare in terms of people actually using them. It's like there is some black hole where all red users go, never to talk of the usage. I can barely find anything in terms of Reds and their use in gaming. And comparing against the Blacks in terms of gaming.

Never happened to me at all and I really can't imagine it happening either. Not sure where that came from.

I am most comfortable with blacks as its easy not to bottom out and feels really nice. That said I have generally begun favouring tactile (bumpy) switches more than linear.
