I've requested to have those legends flipped, US ISO is a layout that is stupid - I can only really think of cherry/gmk boards that use the layout, So with anyluck we will get #~ on the top and |\ on the front of that one

Nice work, did you adapt a rev C board or did you get one of the newer ones? Or is there some other non-hasu magic going on here...

I still need to get my converter set up and installed, it's on the sidebench with about 4 other projects I don't ever think I'll start/finish...

 

I can't remember off the top of my head if it's a Rev.C board or a Rev.D board - It didn't come with any bluetooth stuff on it but it did have the landing pads on the pcb for them - but they are a bit wrong, so Hasu showed me how to "wire" it using the pads that were there and a couple of extra bits. I probs have most of the bits at home minus the actual bluetooth jobbie from spark fun. I got some power issues though and I haven't been able to sort it, just seems to eat through the battery real super fast, or my battery is rubbish - I literally threw the stuff on the pcb and played with it for about 3 minutes then haven't gone back to sort it out yet, too many other peoples keyboards to sort atm.

 

About the power draw, I've article about Sparkfun board that are terrible with the idle state. Which one did you use ? I'm interrested in bluetooth HID devices .

What a rubbish idea - where would I put my other thumb!? it would be ON the space bar still hehe.

 

The mod caps look to have quite aggressive lips on, too! Not for me I don't think...

 

Matias are using a similar sized spacebar on their upcoming 60% board, perhaps fat lip's is this years "thing"...

 

It's a rubbish thing. I knew I'd seen it somewhere before! puts me off that matias too even though the rest of the layout is sweet.
