Hi folks, I've been eyeing up either a Ducky Shine 3 or 4 with Cherry browns.

What's the general consensus on the Ducky Shines here; any good and will one be a good upgrade from an old (but well looked after) Razer Blackwidow Ultimate with Cherry blue's?

 

Guys any place to buy PBT keycap sets with ISO layout? And that are compatible with Ducky shine 3 and a future Corsair K70/k65?

 

I think Ducky boards are lovely, but I silently rage at the quality of the caps supplied, given the price. Having said that, I've yet to see anyone supply high quality backlit caps with a board.

OCUK used to hold a range of Ducky caps, iirc.

Don't see any PBT caps though - as above, I doubt anyone makes them yet, or I'd be all up in that sh!t (assuming I didn't need a mortgage to buy some).

K70/K65 are not 100% compatible, they have funny bottom row and funny space bar which makes finding replacement caps hard.

 

Yeah, avoid corsair if you're serious about keyboards/switches. The caps are poor quality and as Margo says replacements don't really exist due to the weird layout.

ANSI layout but the only pbt backlit caps I know of are from vortex. There's a massdrop running for them now
