    Indeed! I bought it for the keycaps and case mostly. Will probably be combining it with an ANSI set I have to make a complete 1800 board.

    Right then, I'm after a mech keyboard with browns for work as my fingers are getting fed up with being smashed to bits on a cheapo membrane and would like some input from you chaps on which one.

    it needs to be a full keyboard as my right hand spends more time on the number pad than it did in my pants during adolescence. as it's for work, back lighting isn't a necessity and i'd ideally like it to be reasonably cheap. i've found this qpad one which also has the added bonus of a wrist rest. Anyone have any experience with them or know of a particular keyboard that may be suitable?

    Erm, about 80 max and the cheaper the better really. It is for work and not play after all.

    Although maybe I could push the boat out a bit and bring it home on weekends, but I'd want red led backlighting in that case. Everything gotta match after all! Ha ha

    I did see him, but I don't think I or those around me could live with the tinny clickyness of the blues. They already have to put up with my tourettes-esque outbursts when someone still can't follow instructions at the 5th time of asking.

    They do go well together.

    I do love that cable. I only included it in the sale because the port on the back of my Rapid-i is Micro instead of Mini, and I didn't want to use an adapter. :sigh:

    I'll probably end up ordering another at some point. Black cables are so last season.

    I do love my noppoo choc mini.... Although I wish I had got it in black :/ I was too impatient and just bought a white one, it has to be cleaned weekly

    Perhaps wash your hands after taking a messy dump? :hehe:

    Seriously though, I've had a few white keyboards. As long as you wash your hands regularly and don't eat whilst typing, they only need a quick wipe over with a duster.

    I just got my first board with blues (Dolch :D) and it is super fun to type on but I wouldn't want to be in the same room as me when I start typing quickly...it's sooo loud! It does make the Typing of the Dead a bit more fun though when your keyboard starts sounding like a machine gun :D.

    My black boards tend to end up looking grubbier than the white ones, the white ones hide all the dust and cat hair...

    Maybe I should have explained better... I sound like a right tramp now aha!!! my cats seem to think its ok to sleep on the keyboard especially when I am trying to use it. I have a really bad tendency to spill coke on my desk so my keyboard gets drenched :/

    I am actually looking into getting another board as my partner finds the sound it makes annoying.... are the mech keyboard that arnt so noisy? I would prefer a small one like I have now. I am aware that its to do with the keys and i THINK i have either brown or cherry at the moment im not too sure it was a few years ago when I bought it.
