Indeed. I'm quite annoyed! I am considering opening a 'not as described' case actually - it's definitely not new!

It's worth more than that, even in this state. 22 brown switches alone are worth more than what he was charging. But it's the principle man, I'm an eBay seller too and I'd fully expect cases to be opened against me if I was selling off second hand goods as new.

I haven't raised a case, but I have just asked if there was some sort of mistake and whether I will indeed be receiving my new number pad.

As Shirty says, it's the principle. It's just wrong selling things as 'new' when they aren't.

At least you can leave negative feedback I guess. I agree with the principal, no matter how good a deal it was.

Well he's acknowledged the error like a gent and offered anything I want by way of reparation. In my mind that alone makes things right, so I will be leaving it at that and also leaving positive feedback. It's still a bargain.

I got a similar response - apparently they should have been listed as 'refurbished'. No harm done, and he acknowledged the problem!

    eBay. The minefield.

If any of you would like to feel better about ebay etc, this morning I accidentally sent £100 to a random person whose email address was similar to the person I was meant to be buying a keyboard from... :(

Oh dear. You should be able to reverse that transaction though, assuming it was PayPal!

Oh wow, surely you can reverse the payment?

Also got myself a CST Trackball from a mini GB on DT today, needs a damn good clean up too, I couldn't use it as it is, having peoples finger juices on the ball freaks me out. I will dismantle it tomorrow and give the internals a going over with some isopropyl and see if I can sort out a nice cable for it. Got a 7 ball for it too, wanted #13 though :(

You can cancel a payment if it's not gone through yet (e.g. if you type an email that doesn't exist or isn't coupled to a paypal account). Sadly the 'wrong' address is a valid account and it is set up to receive payments automatically, so there's a woman on the Isle of Wight with my keyboard monies :(

I have emailed her with the situation and had a brief reply saying she'll look into it, so I'm crossing my fingers :/

    It arrived!

I didn't have much of a chance to use it today, but boy what a difference! Typing feels so different it's like i've been doing it wrong all these years. The build quality seems great, very sturdy, heavy and flex free. I recon i could beat at least 5 people to death with it before it broke.

As right as it already feels, it will take a little getting used to as the contact surface of the caps is quite a bit smaller than what i'm used to. Managed to jam my finger in the cracks a few times like a spanner. The font on the keys is also a little funky, but adds a little interest to an otherwise plain design.

I'm soooooo glad i got it. It will definitely be coming home on the weekends till I can get a second

Don't kid yourself. It will be no time at all before you start looking to justify another mech for the office. Trust me on this. :thumb:

    Don't listen to the 60% brigade, they're a bunch of mentals! :p

BTW, you could get a Rapid-i with a white backlight then use LED colour changer caps to choose your colour. :D

You speak the truth there mate, I think this thread got me down that road, started with a Ducky TKL, moved over to a couple of Filcos, now have me a Ducky Shine 3 Brown and happy with it but I have no idea why but I want a Ducky Mini and a Corsair K65 RGB. :sigh:

Remind me whats the difference between a TKL and 60% (only kidding guys, LOL, can see three banhammer gents queueing up - erm, Jinqs, Margo, Shirty....:p :worried:)

On a side note, Spreadie, the Rapid-i, how have you found that to use and what keys are you using?

Slightly miss my Blues but saying that, I've been eyeing up the CM NovaTouch TKL, but can't quite justify it for some reason. Give me a reason guys.

    Thanks.
