Fair enough. I've bought stuff from feng before and he appears on geekhack as well. I'd email and ask him if he can mark the value down for shipping if he has something you want but are concerned about the additional hit on import

Edit to add mass drop keys arrived. Both sets complete and an extra Y key .

I picked up an IBM KB-7953 for the princely some of 50p. Needs a bit of a clean. Is it easy enough to strip down for cleaning purposes? And would it be worth anything if I did?

Before I go stripping it down, Plugged the KB ps2 into a USB adapter and am getting unknown device and not much else.

Have I frittered away my 50p or can something be salvaged?

No worries - I have two boards (well one IBM keyboard and one numberpad) that I run through them and they never skip a beat - plugged in through the cheaper ones they either aren't recognised at all or they come up with the same error you're getting "unknown device"

Discovered that my secondary PC has a PS2 port KB working perfectly. Now to take it apart to clean.

Good news - worth checking that it actually works before putting in the effort of taking it apart!

Looks nice. I'd guess it just doesn't speak USB so won't work no matter what converter you try to run it through
