I don't hate rubberdomes and I understand why they are so popular, they serve a purpose. I just don't understand why people think that it's crazy to spend £200 on a keyboard it ok to spend £500 on a GPU.

Seems like it. Though I have ordered quite a few thing internationally before. Most of the time through various e-bay sellers and in 2-3 years I was only checked once.
    Let's see what happens.

    +1
No hate, but I just don't like them anymore. It's like ice-cream.
I like vanilla anytime, but I would prefer Häagen-Dazs chocolate if I can. :naughty:

Besides, it is like discussing buying a car, a house or an expensive pen. Some people want to add performance kits to their car, while other people are fine with a second-hand beater that gets them from a to b.
You are free to spend your money on what you want and talk about it with like-minded idiots on forums. :D

It is lovely to type on! Really smooth key strokes and very little noise, you do bottom out pretty much on each key press but it feels so nice and is very quiet! The layout is crazy and I am making a lot of mistakes but I can see myself getting there.

I can see why some people love these switches! The sound is quite muffled but they feel lovely at the moment.

Looks very nice. For a momen I thought those were aluminum keycaps, but they are just otaku.

I have been trying to think of how to describe it but I can't, it sounds amazing and the key presses feel... not like a linear Cherry switch, the force does increase as you press the switch I think but it feel really clean unlike a standard rubber dome board.

You have to try though, I had an idea of the switch feel in my head and it is nothing like what I imagined!

    Is it tactile?

How much so, is it a sharp tactile bump or spread over a wide area? Can you feel it when typing fast?

Sorry about all the questions lol!

It isn't tactile as such.... When I type on this quickly I do bottom out and it feels like a soft landing, it isn't a firm click like a Cherry switch. It feels like the same amount of force to actuate the switch as my Cherry browns, totally different feeling though!

    Sounds so intriguing!

Kind of linear but not like cherry, not tactile, and completely different to browns!

It doesn't really sound so nice in words, look like ima have to locate a topre to try!

I am uploading a video of my typing on the HHKB2 and then the Filco with browns for comparison.
