Damn wish I had a home to get a loan that big

 

Get a home loan, "buy" the home, then take a loan out against the house you just bought. The higher the interest the better

I don't need to take out a loan... yet. I only spend half my pay on keyboards this week. You have to have some limits. ;P

 

Difference being that our mortgages are tied to us and not the house.

I only have two keyboards.

I only have 5 right now though, all with lurvely Cherry 2shots, each in a different color...

 

I'm working on a 3rd and another HHKB so it won't be quite so shameful in a couple of weeks!

I'll forever keep my WASD with browns (since it was my first ), but I want to sell my Rosewill w/ reds to get a WASD TKL w/ reds when that comes out. I don't really likes blues all that much, so I might keep it because it was a cheap board or sell it and just not buy another blue board.


Random thought: I wish Leopolds didn't come with a non-standard space bar size, it's really the only thing negative about them. The new 700 series looks really nice, is cheapish and comes with PBT keys and I like PBT keys.

 

I will never sell my Filco with browns, my girlfriend bought it for my 25th birthday.

I have no need for it, I don't plan on killing my two Leopold keyboards.

Plus it's at my place of work, and our rule of thumb, if it's beige or white, time to get rid of it.

 

True, I will conceed you make up for the quantity with quality. You could have bought like 3 keyboards for the cost of the scarface keycaps.

I only really use 2 of my keyboards, my Pokers. My G80-0499HAU is XT and I don't have such computers so I can't use it if I wanted to and I don't use my G80-1813HFU because Dolch is too pretty to touch it. LOL. The other one is a WIP right now... still need to get a few special switch and some other little details, but it will hopefully be stunning once I finish the custom plexi case for it.

 

For me it is all about quality, I'd rather have a few really nice boards than lots of crap ones

I have a new desk in a new office that needs a keyboard....

 

I only buy nice stuff too, it's all about winning them for cheap on ebay ;P

 

For now I am fine with my two boards. Might get a mech numpad in the future and mod it to hold different switches... with matching keycaps off course.

So one switch for the main pad and a mixture of black, brown, blue, red, clear and greens around. With keycaps in matching colours.

 

Honestly I like to get down to 2-3 keyboards, sounds dumb because I already have 3 but I want 3 solid keyboards. I have one solid one right now, the brown WASD. I'd like a TKL with reds (most likely a WASD, maybe a CM) as my second solid keyboard and then a small 60% sized keyboard with reds or browns as my third solid board.

I'm not hating on my Rosewills one bit, they are a great board and I'm super glad I bought them. Buy those two boards allowed me to test reds and blues so I didn't buy a high end board only to find out I didn't like the switch (blues in my case). However I'd like TKL sized one for "gaming" and a 60% sized one that I can take with me/use with my laptop.

 

No scar face caps on eBay though!

 

No, not yet... but I have got some fairly obscure Cherry stuff like doubleshots coffee and cream colorway set on ebay. Could be worth a house in South Korea for all I know lol.

$200 for a candycorn... I should have waited for that sucker. I only sold mine for like $40.
