ITS AWESOME. I'm so sorry God of keyboards, how could I have been so skeptical.. you're the boss..

Having said that, the rubberised Escape key is going to grind my gears in no time. I love the responsiveness of the reds.. I'm actually probnably going to use this as my work keyboard as opposed to my gaming keyboard. I mean, typing this is utterly effortless.

Oh yeah, and for a wired mouse, the M60 isn't half bad either.

Ahh.. after all the unknowledgeable hate endured in that "have you fallen for mechanicals.." thread, it is a fine thing to witness even more people trying them and realising that there is such a thing as a better keyboard!

I saw the internals of those Corsair finally. Looks like it would be little effort to make it into a very cool 60%. Just saw off the numpad and reconnect a few traces, then cut the case up. I almost grabbed one on ebay a little while ago that was only $30 since it wasn't working but figured it would just go in the pile.

 

Do I get free beer in the trade?

 

I have a feeling that that could end up more than the Keyboard itself...

 

I wish I could participate. I'd like a K60. Just for kicks.

 

One very important question:

Are mechanical keyboards beer proof?

 

Only the oldshool ones...

 

Even the old school ones are only spill proof if you dont tilt it. Tilting it allows for leaks and causes rust on the springs. As long as you don't do that. You're good.

 

Sell the K60 and get a real mechanical keyboard

 

Speaking of typewriters, I found one that uses Cherry MX and has real Cherry dyesub keycap with blue legend. It's looking pimp as hell, pretty crazy right? I'm going to buy it even though it cost $90 for an old used 'crappy' typewriter lol. More stuff for the pile ;P
