Guys, quick pricing question. How much would a Choc Mini (Black, blue switches), Zinc caps sell for? Separately obv. I also have a few extra caps (2x Portal, awesome face and a running ESC man).

just wondering - my board is keycool 87, am I right in thinking it won't find in the custom cases for the likes of filco TKL & CM Storm like these in this link http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=34470.0 - because the keyboard looks about the same but i'm guessing as with all things in life it's not as easy as that.

Zinc will probably go for £40, choc mini for £55 inc and the other caps might get a couple of quid each.

It probably isn't and probably won't sadly!

As long as the spacing between key sections is the same on the Keycool, I don't imagine you would run into any problems besides having to drill some new mount holes for the pcb.

 

Have you sent out the doubleshots Lysol? I can't wait!

Hmn, they sent you 2 left shift... oops or did you know it already? Finding the real keys in beige is very hard and expensive. Almost no one that have them will part with only those keys, and whole board with them go from $120 - 300 depending.
I probably will make a buy with qwerkeys soon (after the Russian / Dvorak buy submited to production) for some supplement kits. Some may complain about not doubleshot, but at least thier profile is correct unlike SP and it looks so close to 2shot. For cheap and easy placeholder you could get some Cherry lasered beige. At least the profile and color is correct while you wait.

Going to see about a couple. 1 would be fulltouch capslock and 1.25 modifiers with option to exchange the control and capslock placement. 2 would also include shifts, ansi enter and '# 1.5 key to use DE set on ANSI. 3 I want to try to get enough for TG3 compatible set (but doubt it will happen) with it's funny 1.5 top row 1! and backspace, 1x tab,1x \|, 1.25 caps lock, 1.75 enter, and bottom row `~ key. I also want to try and revisit my CMYK (like a joke of RGB) set since it will be possible to have the lighter color on black with infill process. Maybe some other things as I keep thinking.

 

I didn't realise mate, I didn;t see a pic before he sent it, just told me it was a full TKL set. Knew I'd have to find a moogle though, and knew it would be hard to find. DO you know if hasbaz has any left? Might send a quick PM.

Worth me complaining to MMB about the wrong shift? How hard is it gonna be for me to find the right size one? I dont mind using RGB set for now.

But would be very interested in this set you are talking about ordering from Qwerkeys.

He has leftovers but there is a queue for them! He is trying to work out a fair way of selling them.

I would get in touch with MB, could have just been a mistake. But say 'full set' means to me full complete set with all correct keysize. Personally I would expect them to make it right.
I've never had a problem dealing with them personally, but there was recently a huge drama involving them and another party about a transaction gone very sour.

 

I don't know what to make of that transaction!

 

I didn't either. It seemed like both sides were at fault in some way, but I am not really sure as neither side convinced me.
Anyway, if it would have been me, I would have just fixed up the board and sold it for as much as possible if not want to keep it then. Well that is what I usually do though (after stealing all the cool keycaps lol), sometimes stuff on ebay is not as nice as it appears, like they gave it the cosmo cover treatment in the auction photos. Sometimes it is covered in filth and ends up being pristine once cleaned.
