Any Dance Dance Revolution lovers around here?
i3oilermaker has a new round with Poker keys and DDR arrowkeys. (I already asked him for a numberpad version)

i saw the R2 Zinc gb on geekhack, sorely tempted but there's no ISO kit. I think i can get a couple of extra caps and cover everything except enter. I think i just need an extra blank R1 and R2, and maybe a 1.25 for left shift (for a filco mj2 full size). was planning on going with all blank caps anyway. then something different for the numpad (or maybe just do the central 9 numeric keys).

Anyone seen many custom ISO enter keys anywhere? I'm drawing a blank, short of getting an ISO kit from another group buy.

So Coolermaster have started to remove the branding on the QF Rapid. I'm very impressed with the move and it looks a lot better!

There's very few custom ISO enter. You can make custom with wasd as I did.

For metal modifiers feng is planning titanium mods in the future...

As keyboards went from mech to membrane, no doubt to save money and make more profit, any old **** will do, aslong as it works.com.

Its nice that there are us lot around to say, ok we will pay more money if we can have our quality products back.

Looking forward to see comments about the Osmium once youve tested it out.

I now notice that Kustom pcs sell a few wasd sets of keys, a market that they dont want to miss out on i suppose.

Reminds me of about 400 years ago when i used to collect football stickers and we could swap with school freinds and such.

Im still to get my first replacement ones though, looking for some backlit ones really in white possibly

My first move into mechanical keyboards and at the moment I am not sure if they are for me. The problem I seem to have is the sensitivity of the keys. It seems to me that I only need to look at a key and it registers a stroke. Obviously this is an exaggeration but hopefully you will get my drift. All to often a key alongside the one I want will register even if it has the most lightest of touches. Is there a way of dampening the keys a little?

The keyboard in question is the Corsair K60.

Reds are the easiest switch to actuate and that is what the K60 uses.

Do you want there to be a little bump as you press the key or do you like the very linear feel of the reds? If you want to stay linear then black switches will be your best bet as they have heavier springs than reds.

As I said, my first move in to mechanical (partial) keyboards so your jargon means absolutely nothing. What I was hoping to do was make it less likely that an adjacent key would not register quite so readily with only the lightest of touches, usually in the form of a glancing blow when I have not hit the key I want as cleanly as I should.
