Got my 2nd Poker yesterday, this time with blues.
In terms of build quality etc, it's often claimed to be not very good etc. For me, the only time the pcb flexes is when I'm pulling middle keycaps, and even then it's only slightly, while in use I've never had an issue with it, only slight downside for me is it's weight if using it as a main keyboard, a little more weight would make it that little bit better.
Saying that, I love them, the blues on it feel quite different to the blues on my Ducky TKL, possibly due to them being pcb mounted rather than plate, they also sound different, probably partially to do with the lightness/lack of mass of the keyboard.
I'm actually looking at buying an aluminium shell for one of my Pokers (am considering selling one since I'd like to try a HHKB), which should solve any weight issues and help it feel a little more sturdy (although as I said, I don't think it really has an issue in that department)
Overall I would highly recommend them as awesome boards, I love the small form factor, gives me so much more room on my desk, even TKL boards look big to me now :p

Filcos are nice, no doubt about it, but I really would advise looking at other boards aswell.
While there is no doubt the Filco TKL was higher quality than my Ducky when compared by side, looked at in details and felt etc, while in use, I found very little difference (both had blues) and have since sold my Filco.

Should be getting a PLU-87 and Choppoo mini (again :p) soon, will give my thoughts on them when they arrive.

I'll keep you in mind, although you're 3rd in line I'm afraid :/

I got mine both from Deskthority. One from Wupi who now misses it and wants to buy one :p

Haha, that's precisely the reason I want one! :D
I've looked at Deskthority, but I can only find full-size Filcos for sale there. I'll guess I'll wait a week and see if anything pops up before buying new.

Haha typical! No probs and thanks for clearing up about build qualities. I was considering spending a lot more for a Filco but now I think a simple Noppoo Choc Mini or a Poker will do ;)

Yeah slightly but I highly rate qtan :) Get the board in white! I have both and the white is nicer.

Well it is a matt finish so I guess you could say that it looks quite dull.

Lovely board, not as nice as my Filco TKL but still a really nice board.

I dont mind matte, does it exude quality and understated brilliance?

Oh and what colour is the Filco TKL?

Black sadly, got the ANSI Ninja edition :D

It's a hard one, it is much more practical than the Filco as it has the numberpad laid over the other keys which is very hand for inputting ASCII codes etc. The keys are nosier when you bottom out and are maybe a bit looser on the board than the Filco but I really don't think it is an issue.

I enjoy using both, I have the Filco at home with browns as I game and the Noppoo black with blues at work.

Love them both, the Filco Ninja TKL exudes quality and brilliance, the Noppoo is just an awesome board for the money :D

Lol thanks for the info, +rep

Interesting how the Noppoo still retains the numpad yet the Filco doesn't - I never noticed that before

    No problamo.
Personally I would be happy with any of the boards probably, I'd far rather make sure I get a switch I enjoy typing on (although after a day or two I've come to enjoy any of the ones I've tried :p)
As longweight said, if you go for the noppoo, go for the white model, has far nicer and higher quality keycaps :)

It isn't an issue on the Filco unless you need to input ASCII codes, you get used to the row of numbers pretty quickly!

The guy is being slow at getting back to me about stuff, I'm pretty much confirmed buying from him, just waiting to payment details etc.
