Been trying out different switch combos using greys and I have a couple of interesting ones. Blue stem and grey spring feels awesome! It has a less high pitched, more dampened audible feedback along with tactile feedback with a similar weight to ergo clears.
The other one was brown stem with grey spring which feels like a less gritty, smoother clear.

Blue stem and grey spring must be pretty close to mx white, no?

It would be similar in force but white stem is different, it does not click as hard.

A TKL Ninja with browns. Seemed a pretty "safe" choice.

I can only hope I won't become addicted like the lot of you... ;)

It doesn't do anything hard, felt to me like a decidedly ladylike switch. A petite little "click" as opposed to the manly headache-inducing "clack" of blues

I'm sorry to tell you that my first board was a TKL Ninja with browns and now I'm fairly well addicted (not as much as some mind but well on the way!)

Do you guys reckon the prices of mechs will drop after Christmas? I'm after one, but the price is pretty steep for a keyboard...

Another probable noob question but the removable USB Cable on the CM Storm Quickfire Rapid is quite rigid in comparison to the Oni cable (non-removable) can I use an alternative preferably something more pliable and where would I get one?

I'd assume it's just a Mini Usb cable? If so... Pretty much anywhere on the internet.
