    That looks awesome George!

I should have something cool (though not quite as cool as your slab of switches) arriving soon. Not really sure where it is though as KidMod hasn't messaged me back for a few days, I am sure he will pretty soon though :thumb:

Give him time, he's probably just busy with angst.

    Really? Damn! Lucky guesses.

Edit: Have I mixed 2 of them up (got them the wrong way round)?

Haha. Obviously the sooner I get it the better and I am pretty excited about it, but I am not annoyed... yet :hehe:

    Hi Matt,

A big apology for the delays, I've had various things going on and just haven't managed to get this sent. I've been to Spar now and I'll PM you your tracking number in a few minutes.

I saw a few people bought those poker chip carry cases... which is kind of ironical. I think the 300 chip size. It is aluminum hardcase. You would just need to remove the inside bottom holder part for the chips and replace it with some foam. Not sure there of course but in US you can get them for like $20ish.

yeah, i figured that as sourcing a nice resolution touchscreen would be difficult even if you used a small embedded board to run it.

for the sake of a raspberry pi, usb battery and a non-touchscreen you could treat it as a case/terminal.

Yeah - like a folding computer, you can sit it on your thighs. We can call it a thightop. Quick, someone patent that idea!

    :hehe:  :p

i was more thinking, if you're going to have a case to transport your poker, and you repurpose something like that, you may end up with additional space, and how would you put that to use other than carry a spare cable/keycaps.

my poker is still sat untouched in it's box awaiting keycaps.

Margon and Tangster, i placed the techkeys order a few days ago just waiting on shipping notice. I'll sort the money out in a few days, things have suddenly been superbusy.

But then you would just end up with laptop :hehe: Edit: I started typing this just after you posted, then buggered off for a while, hit post and came back realising I had been better to it!

Anybody got any o rings going spare?

Also does anyone know if it is possible to remove the legends on Ducky PBT keys?

http://forums.bit-tech.net/picture.php?albumid=2183&pictureid=31905 these are the keys in question. They are laser etched, but I assume they have been filled in/printed with something as the legends feel raised.

Sorry if that is a retarded question, I am not all too well versed on the printing/etching/engraving side of things. I just don't want to see 2 angry ducks looking back at me from my bottom row. So the alternative is if someone has 2 blank black PBT windows keys and a spacebar :thumb:

I need some one that is as small as possible to take on the plan with me :) although that is a good idea just to big and heavy for my needs. cheers.

either paint them or replace them. to remove you would have to etch them out with something like a dremel or sandpaper.

That is what I feared. I only asked because everything else which I have seen that is laser etched hasn't been coloured so I wasn't sure how the process on the keys works or if it was "proper" etching.

I think I will just source some replacement caps, the only problem is I need to find some ducky top printed ones in the same style as they have nothing on the spare bar (as far as I am aware) and only a windows icon on top of the windows keys, no ducks in sight. The alternative is to get an entirely different bottom row, maybe PBT blank white and complement it with white wasd and esc, hmmmm.
