Looking mighty fine fuus, it reminds me that I should really take some nice pics of my stuff.

I am going to get some white paper and my boards and set up on the table in the kitchen/living room as it is nice and light and I should be able to get some decent shots. I have a DSLR but I am a poor show when it comes to using it, or even remembering to use it!

Edit: Soooo I may have bought el2k's Leopold... going to see how I get one with the standard caps (being blank and a funny profile), but I would really like a nice set of white engraved. I don't ever really look at the keys except the occasional secondary key on the num row so blanks should be a problem, I just really like the look of engraved keys.

I hope so. TKL ANSI with all regular sized keys (apart form the spacebar, which doesn't seem that big of an issue) so maybe I can get in on some group buys without spending another $15-20 for ISO keys once I can justify the cost. Qtan has confirmed that his sets work with the leopold 200 spacebar and customs shouldn't be an issue.

My friend who is going to buy my Filco said he would probably have the PBT Ducky keys too. So I should have a nice slice set aside after the sale of that to go towards some bits and pieces! What a ridiculous and expensive hobby this is :hehe:

I can think of more ridiculous and expensive ones! (Well more expensive anyway!)

It's much, much, much, much cheaper than mountain biking.

Oh I know, I used to BMX. Which while not as expensive as MTB, dropping £400 on a frame isn't unusual and then £100's on a single wheel.

Skateboarding was significantly cheaper. New deck for between £30 and £60 every 3-6 months and about the same again for shoes. Trucks £60 last a lifetime, wheels £15-£40 maybe once a year depending where you skated. Bearings £5-£100 when you decided you wanted to go faster haha!

If I wanted to save some money I could take up knitting instead, wool is pretty cheap and my heating bills would be low :hehe:

To be honest as long as I can pay all my bills and save £250-£350 each month then I can spend my money on whatever the hell I fancy!

My new mtb frame was maybe nearly a thousand quid with forks and a wheelset (SECOND HAND as well!) :S

I wish I could save that much a month also!

I do save that much each month but not in 'long-term' savings - at the moment I'm 'saving' towards a wedding & honeymoon in August... I haven't managed to save anything into long-term savings for a very, very long time.....

Forget saving and buy loads of keycaps from my Cherry GMK buy. There are ISO keys include and compatibility for practically any board even odd one like Choc mini.

Yeah I am pretty good with money. I don't tend to buy loads of random stuff and bits all the time. Some months I buy literally nothing other than paying for bills, going pub a few times and any food if I don't make lunch. Other months I go cray-cray.

Will shipping be from Germany? (As that will be much cheaper for us than having them sent to the US and then back out again - stupid USPS hiking their prices...) Also, can we pick whether we pay in $ or € (to pick the cheapest exchange rate).

I'm definitely in for a ESC pack and maybe a purple mods too (maybe)

No it turns out it is cheaper to have send from USA so we are not all raped on VAT. I can mark the packet appropriately value to avoid or minimize additional fee and tax.

Fair enough - I'll have a think... It would seem that even the smallest orders from USA to UK at the moment are ~$18 postage...

No postage is more like $7-$10 for most orders. I posted the weight of all the sets in the GB OP so you can use that to calculate postage for your exact order on USPS site.

If it was a different base colour then I think I would go for it. Not sure purple is the right colour for my mods.
Do you plan on doing any more group buys in the future? As it's nice to see a group buy where all the different key sizes are included.

I would have gone in the GB but I really don't like the purple.
