I really can't decide on the purple - initially I really didn't like it, now I'm 50/50...

 

also not a fan of purple, but holding out hope for future coffee and cream.

my caps are apparently at the post depot just down the road, so hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow

 

I'd really like a mundane white on red set of mods. Or even white on green.

 

They tried to deliver mine today so I'll go & pick them up tomorrow. I also have a customs charge to pay on another item (not Ivan's GB) of £11.26 (which is really £3.26 + £8 handling fee )

 

If someone on here does do a GMK order, let me know first as I may need the esc pack.

Have you guys seen this, I like the idea of it, but as with most of these sets I am not sure I would want it on a daily board. Pretty soon I will be making an order from KeyPop, I have a free shipping voucher so if anyone wants in it should be a decent price. I am just a bit worried about customs if the order is big :/

 

There were lots of choices to vote on while it was in interest check. Purple was most popular so I ran with it. I just hope all those people that voted for it weren't trolling or we are in big trouble. It looks great in real life I assure you. It's a nice deep shade, not really girly.

 

A friend of mine loves his purple, so I will ask him if he is up for it Not sure though as he will have just bought tons of keyboard stuff.

I really like the look of the CMYK stuff, but not really sure what I would do with it. Like I said before CYMK arrows would be awesome though

George is that our techkeys order? Do you need any extra ££ from me for customs?

 

Don't think it's that either... I'll find out tomorrow! £3 customs would only be a ~£15 order (even though I didn't think they bothered collecting for that little) and our techkeys order was more than that...

I will do my gmk order on sunday as I have just been booked to work all weekend (joy be me) - so if you want you esc packs or whatever let me know and I will stick you on my order.

(i LOVE the purple and I love all the different options, ie. for iso AND ansi AND non standard boards)

 

This. Also I like the that the raindrop GB has the usual non standard alt modifiers included in the base pack (like the pure's short shift).

I wish more GB's were like this, so you only have to buy a single option not 2.

They waive duty if it's under £9, but they don't waive VAT which you have to pay on goods ≥ £15 or gifts of ≥ £36. At £3.26 you're looking at a value of about £16.25 if that helps narrow it down...

 

It's odd, I really can't think of anything that is that sort of money... Most things I've got arriving are worth more!

Edit: An £11 fee on a £16 item is a right b***h though isn't it!

Maybe techkeys marked the value as 20 something dollars? Or maybe you have a random surprise from someone...

The charge is outrageous, fair enough paying VAT but RM charging £8 is obscene!

I know, I think I'll double up on the CYMK (to four sets) but purple really isn't me, nor are different esc's though I'm up for a set of each just to support...

Pure... G80-3000... GH60... Phantom... ErgoDox... five sets? No, CMYK won't fit comfertably on the ErgoDox, four sets it is.

 

Why hasn't the toxic set been put up for the first GMK GB?
