    Need some help. Trying to fix the F key on my pure (it's not the switch so must be the PCB - even though it visually looks fine). and I just need to check that the wireing I need to do is correct.

    According to this Am I right in thinking that to get my F key to work I need to solder wire between the following points:

    connect a wire from the F keys 'F' Column pin to the 'F' Column pin on the R key and wire from the F keys 6 Diode pin to the 6 Diode pin on the D key?

    This is using the labeling from the DT post above.

    Thanks

    <EDIT>

    Got it, turns out it's not the matrix but the diode on the F key. By passed it by connecting to the + side from the diode leg of the switch. Just need to ask around for a replacement, which shouldn't be too hard.

    GH60 invoices are starting to go out, just paid for mine. Now I need to find 2 cases and 2 keysets :)

    For 2x PCBs and 1x Universal ansi plate the total came to $96.09 so about $24~ with the Paypal fees.

    I think the plate / case all in one is a winner.

    All-in-one case? Where's that? Or did you mean the Universal Ansi plate? (which is a great idea as I can switch between poker and pure layoputs to find the one I like best :) )

    Someone in the GH60 thread has created a plate / case. It is basically a plate with a longer top and bottom section that have been bent to stand the PCB off the desk.

    Ah... Do you have a link? I'm looking through the thread now but it's up to 62 pages and I'm a work. And a bit lazy.

    It does look cool but I wonder if it'd move about with the surface area in contact with the desk being so small...

    Maybe it could be bent back on itself again so that you have a larger area that you could put little rubber feet on?

    I liked Beasts suggestion to use rubber u channel along the folded section's edge that contacts the desk. If you did it that way It'd most likely have better surface contact than a lot of the other custom cases that use the little rubber dome feet.

    That would be a pretty ugly detail.

    Not necessarily. If the U channel has a low enough profile it would just look like a thin black (most common colour) edge to the bare metal plate.

    If you can not find a low enough profile then it may look a bit bad.

    I still think that it would ruin the aesthetic, it will just look like an afterthought.
