I agree about browns/reds. Unless you have the lightest possible touch when typing you can't really feel the bump, and the weighting is very similar (same spring). When gaming they are identical for me.

    In response to?

The BW is not a bad keyboard per se, it's just a mediocre mechanical keyboard. You'll have to take my word for that as someone who's owned more mechs than I have fingers to count since my time with my BlackWidow.

I need to post again about how much I love the browns... typing a letter atm and it has never felt so good, not even with the blues.

Can't say I like the keycaps very much but they can always be changed (and probably will, eventually). I much prefer the rough surface of double shots.

Haha sorry mate nothing there that I really need. I have a blank red for esc and still have best part of 1000 caps from the crap bags, including some nice novelty caps. :)

EDIT: which reminds me... SP are doing grab bags again in July/Aug - anybody interested?

Looking good Margon. I need to get a cheaper backlight capable board one of these days to do some zany **** to. Want to do something kind of like that Ducky 78 but more to my tastes.

The box is open. Someone else's rank hands might of touched it. or they might of sneezed on it. Or god forbid they may well of plugged it into their computer. DISGUSTING.

ebay is the devil and I don't mess with the devil. Though I wish I did as whenever I want something off ebay I have to get someone else to buy it for me like a child :D but i'm committed to never directly letting my money go through paypal ever again.

At that price I'd guess it's probably a customer return (and they aren't obliged to say so). The "open box" cop-out is a safe bet for the seller.

In saying that, the board is probably in new condition otherwise they wouldn't sell it. :)

Oh it's definitely a return, but it'll be as new. That's a top spec board for about as low as mechs go for, and has the correct* switches to boot.

    *If you like reds :p

Interesting. How easy would it be to find replacement caps for such a board?
