shirty's board is ISO and it is not backlit. (i think?)

 

Margon's half right (maybe even three-quarters), it is UK ISO TKL, black case, white PBT lasered caps, and only the WASD cluster is backlit (optionally).

yes - the mounting holes are the same, there is no problem with the tray type cases as they don't really mind what you have above the pcb as long as the holes are in the right place.

I have to take what I said about the rollover ability of my board, found this. I did kind of expect it though, what with not being able to reliably reproduce the issue; Tired fingers perhaps.

 

I had to type a masked password containing various symbols with a uk iso kb using a us ansi map, and i got it right first time

If I didn't have a mech keyboard habit, that wouldn't have been possible. Thanks peripheral keyboard knowledge!

Now then, my F122 just arrived and all I can say is that the package was BLOODY HUGE! I knew this was a big board, but in person...

I'm amazed at the bargain I've got for £5.50. The case and caps are all in mint condition (PBT feels awesome!), everything works wonderfully and he's even bolt modded the thing! The bolts need a little tightening but that can easily be done.

Buckling springs are wonderful, however, the actuation distance is much lower than I expected, which does feel a little weird for something so tactile.

All in all, I'm quite the happy chappy and hoping I can find the time to fit a Soarer converter and get this thing going on USB.

 

Due to import costs etc, I am looking at 70-75

 

do they have the same Fn layer as the Poker 1?
really need to fer arrows keys locked in wasd cluster for idiot RTS programmers.....

Cant find any info on the function layer. It has 4 dip switches, so you may be able to get a layout somewhat close

 

hmm let me know when you have stock in. When I bought my last KBTalking board there was a little "cheat sheet" "that explained all the Fn possibilities. Sadly I got a back lit and not the Poker otherwise I would be able to do this already.

Just look at the front of the wasd keys if they have little arrows

 

Yea, I'm sure the Poker 2s I get will have similar.

Really looking forward to getting my second batch so I can get one and back-light it.

 

I'd be interested in one with browns, though I could wait 'til the second batch.
