To me, something about clears feel quite similar to Topre. Although I think ergo clears would be a closer match. :)

65g clears are the closest I have found. But still a very different switch.

Going reds for my Poker and my GH60 so the 45gs that they do will be nice and light, right?

longweight - what keyboard is that? 87U? is it 45g?
What kind of caps do those keyboards use? Same as MX? I mean what kind of options do you have to replace them?

I'll answer for long - it is an 87U but it's variable and silenced. Topre switches use a different mount under the keycaps so you're very limited in what you can change with them - much more so than MX

he's right if caps are your thing, then topre won't be your thing. Though most topre caps are PBT - with the exception of type heaven board, I think leopold might be pbt still? though maybe that's not true.

Silenced 87U variable :) There aren't many different caps for Topre. It really doesn't matter when the switch, construction and typing experience is so good that you don't need novelty caps.

We all need Topre clacks. :D

I am still confuse over the typing feel of topre. Eh. D: It might still be getting used to blank caps and the new layout that's putting me off a bit, I've slowed down a lot today and it's quite annoying...

Damn - US Layout Realforce boards in stock at Keyboardco... Not want my bank balance wanted to see... They're more expensive than from EK but no bother with international shipping or customs charges... They also have black on beige...

Has anyone ordered a RF from EK? If so, how much did the customs bill come to? (longweight - I'm looking at you!)
