Edit 3: Postage is a bit of an arse - if you contact them I wonder if they'd charge you less as it's just two keycaps... They're good chaps at keyboardco so you might have some luck - they have a vendor subforum on geekhack

 

Is anyone doing complete sets of backlit caps yet?

40% is really tiny. I think it's also just too much gone to be a practical everyday keyboard. Though, if it was bluetooth it could be excellent as an ultra portable to use with tablets since not all have OTG usb and can't take input device. Otherwise it's just more like a fun little novelty project to put together.

I've been pestering GMK about doing polycarb legends again. Clear legends on some nice Cherry doubleshot could be epic for backlit.

 

Grey or purple... bleh. Thanks anyway for the link, might come in handy one day - I usually only used to buy from keyboardco or the mainstream stuff.

Odd there aren't more given the increasing popularity of backlit cherrys

 

I don't like the caps, cherry caps look ace with led backlights as it gives an underglow sort of effect, I prefer that massively. Most sp caps do as well depending on the second shot colour.

 

Underglow is nice I guess and I have Filco spare caps coming out of my ears but I'm looking for the legends to be backlit still. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait.

 

I quite like the underglow effect as well with just standard thick totally opaque keycaps... but my absolute favorite look would have to be using the same led color as keycap color on backlight friendly legend keys so the legend just appears to be more intense.
