The only difference between the TG3 and Deck versions is 2KRO PS/2 vs 6KRO usb... and the fonts used.

Sorry, I wasn't being clear - I was wondering how well will glued stems hold up against daily use.

I think as long as the fitment was fairly accurate, and a good quality epoxy used, you'd probably get away with it for the stabs. But I agree it's not ideal. In and ideal world you'd mill out the stabs with a precision tool.

The illegal sort, sprouts and cabbage, or switches?

I'm interested in some green switches, but how many are we talking and when?

Lol - I like the costar hate :) I actually prefer the way that they feel much more than Cherry stabs but they are a pita when it comes to swapping keycaps over...

Might order myself a set at some point then and then give them a try on one of my Filcos :)

    I generally don't actually notice a difference between stabs. I don't mind either. :)

I find cherry slightly more mushy (the switch feels different) whereas with costar the switch feels the same as it does for other keys - there's not much in it but I notice it more for vertical keys (numpad + / enter etc)

I have no idea which are Cherry and which are Costar.

Upper ones are Costar. the bottom ones are Cherry.

I hardly notice a difference tbh but Cherry stabilizers are soooo much easier when swapping keys.

Just did a quick inventorisation of what I am spending on keyboards this month.
Ivan's PBT Round 3, GMK RGBY, Clear switch covers and Kmiller's Dyesubs...
    That's over $200... Whoops!

    Nice one, thanks :)

I only use the Costar stabs on my spacebar, all the other caps are free floating.

Cherry for me. Costar are occasionally a proper PITA.

In my recent experience, Cherry stabs are hugely variable. They feel totally different on my Poker to the way they felt on my Ducky, and vastly different to the PCB-mount G80.

Ordered a grab-bag from Signature Plastics. Looking forward to the various crap keys, bits and pieces. :D

shipping on 2 was $70, on 4 was like $82.something, they didn't have all the shipping options on the site so I moaned at them until they did and now I don't think I am going to get one haha.

    2 is more expensive than 1 I think! 1 is about $35

Edit: In that case I won't bother getting one.

    Thanks dude!

I was hoping someone would have a set so I would save a little on postage. I don't really mind if they are shiny either. I need to buy some new running shoes so wanted to save some dosh...
