Just swapped out the springs on my clears for blue springs.

Oh. My. God. It's so tactile!

I liked ergo clears when I gave them a try, but I preferred the stock clear springs at the end of the day. They're definitely a unique feeling switch though, I can see why they're a common mod.

I quite liked the feeling of typing on ergo clears, but although I never got any sticking, I found that slightly "fudgy" return a bit disconcerting, and went back to clears again.

They are glorious to press though, that bump on clears is soooooo chunky :)

Your use of the word 'fudgy' reminds me of another thread, in which the order of showering and going to the toilet was discussed. To save the readers of this thread the pain of reading it all, I won't link to it. Needless to say, I can't read the word 'fudgy' any more without thinking of that thread...

JaccoW I have your box :)

As your packaging is so immense, can I jus confirm in the box is 2 numpads and a skidata? If more is there, I will go dig some more!

Shirty, I will post your browns on Monday probably.

Lol, yeah. Just the Skidata and two numpads. I was a bit pissed (miffed?) when I arrived at the post office with it. The weight was just a bit over 5 kilos so it was more expensive. But I was too lazy to unpack it again. :D
That's what you get for packing stuff with shredded cardboard. :p

When I posted someone board back the other week, it was 2g over 2kg, and they wouldn't let me off the 2g - I had to open the box up and take out 2g of packing peanuts. I was livid!

JaccoW - you only want the leo back straight away don't you - with clears on it - and the blues returned unless i wanna buy them or someone else in the UK does and I can ship them? and the stabs off the skidata? The rest is staying here until your Orion arrives? Just trying to put things in boxes so everything makes sense haha. Don't ask - but, I have lots of boxes that dictates whats happening with things, it's the only way I can manage doing a million projects at once. :)

Those with spare blues, talk to me about blues. But on the other hand, also talk to me about clears. I would like 87 of either, please, or perhaps both :)

Exactly. Also, please keep the stabilizers separate, with the exception of the 7x spacebar as that one is yours to keep. I might have a Keycool TKL soon that needs a plateswap.

newer keycools with cherry stabs have standard stab places.

Oh so you don't want me to send back the stabs to you with the leo?

The Keycool in my Sig has Costar stabilizers and weird spacebar spacing. I have two universal stainless steel TKL plates on the way here.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm not sure yet what to do with them so please send them back with the Leopold. There should be plenty of space left in that box. :D
Once we (well, mostly you  ) start work on the Orion I can always ship them to you. :)

Okie, I will sort it and post you back the leo and the stabs and blues (maybe) and I'll put your clears aside in anticipation for the arrival of your Orion :) Awesome. Admin sorted :D hehe.

I just obtained my first Mechanical keyboard; a Steelseries 6G V2. Whilst it isn't a top range board like what everyone seems to have, it's kind of like riding your first bike without stabilizer wheels. It feels quite nice.

Nice board :) welcome to the club!

All my low end boards get way more use than my high end boards, so, really, it's not about the price tag, it's just about enjoying your feeling! :)

This board has blacks; which i've found quite nice to play RPGs so far. I also play a lot of shmups, dodonpachi, gradius, touhou and the like; the NKRO is something i'm probably never going to do without again.

I have two 6Gv2 boards. One with stock mx blacks and one with browns on the alphanum set.

The layout is a bit funky, with the big assed enter key, and odd-sized right shift, but they're great boards. Don't let anyone tell you different. :D
