I have recently setup a server and using it as a HTTP and FTP server. However i would like to look at making it more useful, a media server with a visual interface mostly for my mp3's but short videos would be good aswell. It doesnt have to have a streaming interface just something that basically list my mp3's with possibly a search feature, that people could acess and download from. Does anyone know any software that would set something like this up. I tried andromeda or something like that but not sure on how to get it to work with windows IIS.

    Did you really try?

All it (the version I downloaded) does is list the files in a directory, not the most advanced script :eyebrow:

Theres the REALLLY simple route of having winamp and finding a plugin that does it. Theres one called Cygnus which lets you remote control it, but it also indexes mp3s etc and lets you download them.
