Sick work, how long does the getto blasting last?
I was really surprised (very nice surprise) to see something like this on a pc forum.
Also, +1 for the great taste in music
What sort of -3db point are you expecting with the bass drivers?
Thanks! Bass should reach 85hz. It doesn't sound like much on the paper but most electronic music has it's thumb around 100hz. Better to have it just a little bit thin but megaloud than unaudible 20hz (remember this is my fourth build, first blaster was able to play down to 45hz but it wasn't audible outdoors, just a waste of electricity)
Parts are now drawn. I'll print them first to see if I have made any stupid mistakes, then I'll send the file to laser cutting company.
I have ordered the acryl plates. Be ready for some serious progress soon
can't wait. keep up the good work
You totally need to send me one once you're done building
Jazzed for seeing this acrylic'd up!
I see that klipsch sub you got there. What kinda system you got man?
zKilla: it's a diy sub to be exact http://metku.net/index.html?path=mods/subwoofer/index_eng
10" seas l26roy with hypex plate amp. Speakers are active Genelec 8030's connected to my pc via M-Audio firewire 410 interface. 52" Sony is also connected to my pc which is hidden inside the bed
In that ghettoblaster pic the main speakers are Behringer's but I have also the Genelecs. It depends if I'm doing music I have Genelecs at the computer desk and Behringers at the movie watching spot.
Here's more photos of the setup, that cage is my sleeping and computer area:
The cage is cool, I want a cage lol.
Wow, just... wow.
I should get acryl parts tomorrow!
Nice place =) but isn't the location of the TV uncomfortable?
I designed this for tv:
I'll build it after the ghettoblaster. I should get the acryl today
Awesome TV stand .
Thanks! I just got the acryl plates, I'll upload some photos later today!
