Memor Timings - Noticable differences?

    Hi,

    Would there any real , noticable difference between memory running at 6-6-6-18 and 5-5-5-15 or 4-4-4-12? How about £50 worth of difference?

    seems to me, that the tighter the timings, the more room you have to overclock (and loosen timings if needed)...so although you wont maybe notice it in the normal day to day...it would be beneficial based on what you intend on doing on the overclock front

    The general answer is get the fastest you can afford. Most DDR2 does not have timings less that 5-5-5-15 I think (had a quick look on ocuk) and that is for crucial and corsair's budget range. As trig said, not a massive difference until you OC.
