8500 all the way, only cause nvidia have been making generic drivers since the geforce 1 is why they are so far ahead. The 8500 kicks the Ti500 in virtually ALL tests that arent deliberately nvidia biased. the le will indef oc to retail speed if not more with a bios flash and or if it has 3.6ns ram - do 600+mhz. There have been more driver releases in the last 4 months then you can shake a copy of quake at. Who cares if they arent "official" ati, they are drivers that work 100% all the time (well for me at least) and they are always faster then the previous, unlike nvidias (again i find this, but cant speak for everyone). Its better then a gf3, not then a gf4 ti4200 perhaps, but it does have superb dvd playback + 2d quality as well as damn fine 3d quality, on par with an nvidia. You dont need 128meg, 64 is ample.

did you tell them that windows drivers dont work on Linux? or that turning the PC on first 'may' help this deserves a poll i think
