I have just had a supplier of ours saying to me that DDR400 and above speeds are not reliable???

now from what i have read from here and other places DDR400 and Upwards IS THE BEST JUST NOW FOR SPEED. now can someone tell me if it is or not the truth

I do VERY extensive testing on DDR
Not just "seeing how much this will overclock"
but I test the actual signal timings on a 6ghz o-scope.

I have tested DDR266 DDR333 and DDR400, and higher in experimental cases.

I have seen nothing that would lead me to beleave that DDR400 is the limit, or that anything higher would be less reliable.

Your supplier may not be able to get "True 400mhz" parts, and therefor is either overclocking 333 parts (unreliable)
or they may tell you that DDR400 doesn't work, rather then have you go to a different supplier.

There is a technical term for the information you have been given. I cant write the term but it sounds like bullocks!

Usually the faster ram has slower timings guarenteed but that does not mean its unreliable. The main reason these faster RAM modules are available is for the overclockers among us. By increasing the speed of the fsb you increase the performance of the whole system.
