Hey MenLor, a great effort so far Your Front blow holes are comming along nicely, you havent stated alot on how your going about them. But from the piccys you really need to think about a few things. * Bondo! is made to work on metal, it dosnt really adhear well to plastics and certainly not smooth plastics. *I always make a point to ruffen (scratch scuff) up any plastic surfaces thats that bondo is being applied to. *Always try to work your bondo from edge to edge of the job, your not actually filling any holes here ! so anywhere that you rub back to plastic will appear as a "low" or a pool once paint is applied. Your picture # 9 shows this, you need to cover the orange that you still see another smooth thin layer of bondo applied with force. Then rubbed back again. * You really need to reinforce the back of the tubes! epoxy glue is best and lots of it!!! one small bump fitting it back up when painted and your front will crack. Not the sort of scratches left from bondo rubbing. to fill these you will need Spray putty primer or even spot putty. I think your doing an awsome job so far and from what i can see it a job worth doing well and pro like. This isn't a dig at your work but just a freindly few comments to help you along.
i've worked some more and almost done this is painted and on case case and room what do you think uh?
the holes are really well done! and nice clean cuts on the door! And i like the fan grills inside the holes
Does anyone else think MenLor should send at least 2 of his hdd's to me? lol j/k, gorgeous mod btw. Rowan
idd it's loud but the 2 120 mm i only turn them on at lan party's and the 2 upper fans are always at full speed and the blue led fans are at half speed almost all the time. And i don't send any hdd to you , i need it next week at lan the 160 is empty it has to be full ) and the dremel and stuff, i got everything from my dad, in his early years he worked with wood, making tables and chairs and stuff so he has alot of tools, if you want i take pictures of my workplace
