    looking at those boards i now realise the reason for no pics in sigs here

    oh yeah, and i was just wondering if you lot here could give me a bit of advice on my car

    i iz got a 1.3 ford KaK, me woz tinking of bangin' a massif NOS and a couple of mad turboz on da mofo and waz tinking dat would be sweet man. and alsoz how much extra bhp does putting on a big ass can on the exhaust an a hyooje wing. me mate wif a micra got en extra 200hp from a wing and massiv exhaust but hes got da stripez alsoz, do they make stripes for the Ka, if so how much extra power do theys gets?

    fanks m8s

    :hehe:
    i think ill buy max power next time i see it in a shop

    sorry bout this,

    <rant>
    if you start with a crappy car, and you add more crap to the outside, you ultimatly have a crappycar covered in crap. it doesnt matter mow much you spend on the car, inside or out, you'll still have a big engine, surrounded by a lot of plastic add-ons that are on a chassis that wasnt designed for what you want it for.

    people do this cos they want the cars to look "different", but ultimatly few actually do anything other than stick bits on they bought, so they all look basically alike. a good example is the PC60 (my case aswell, but nm) widely available, and you can do a lot to them, but buying a window for it, stelthing the drives and assing a fanbus isnt making it different, it's all well and good if your doing it for the hell of it and using it as a stepping stone into bigger and better stuff (as i did) but its not really making it different, as these people with novas, saxo's, 206's etc etc make out.

    If your going to do something, do it right, dont just throw bits of plastic at is, actually looks at it and see what looks good and what looks out of place, big alloys are not good on every car, neither does a tin can welded on the pipe. someone on tv spent £30k on his saxo, i cant begin to imagine how that possibly better than spending 20k or 25k on a sencond hand, more powerful and better handling car and making it handle and perform better with that extra 5k.

    Im all for modding cars, but at least start with something thats not a biscuit tin with an outboard stuck inside it.

    granted people have achieved impressive feats. i saw a mini which had a new engine, nos, 4wd etc. and about 300bhp but ultimatly its a mini, and so even with 4wd its not heavy enough to keep the wheels from spinning when you floor the damn thing and making a lot of smoke, and when you try and turn or infact do anything, the chassis will not like it.

    Oh how i laugh when they lose bits of their cars on speed bumps, trying to go over them slowly does not work. might aswell do 100 as do 10, make a really stylish mess of it to tell yer mates about :)

    </rant>

    gah, they're all over the place round here, gimme an RPG someone...

    I thought the NOS sticker was for comedy value?

    I'm building a Mini Cooper, now that's a car that doesn't need to be modified ;)

    I thing having a car like this is a bit pants if its got a stock 1.1 litre engine in it , but , if it had say the 2.0 litre astra engine conversion it would be FOOKIN fast, and have mad acceleration, so its performance would be on par with its looks.

    It's front wheel drive and look at the size of the wheels - the acceleration would be terrible for the given power.

    That and all the ICE inside make it quite heavy.
