howdy. just studying up for semester finals, so i would appreciate anyone giving me any hints on the following:

when you write the matrix for currents, should the 1st row have only the 1st element as positive, 2nd row only 2nd element positive and 3rd row only 3rd element positive? Cos ive been noticing that pattern, and it would make sense, but i dont want to write it down and remember it if its not true.

This is with only resistances and voltage sources in the circuit.

    Thanks a bunch,
    Tom

So long as you draw all the loop currents going clockwise, it should work out. I wouldn't just remember a pattern though, you should think of each row as being KVL for one loop.
