My computer is seriously f**ked. From the minute I built it it's not been working properly at all. It BSOD's all the god-damn time. I've checked the event log, and these are the errors i've been getting. All Event ID's are 1003, category 102. A litle Google later and I found some threads blaming the video card/drivers for the errors; especially the GeForce 2 MX 200. Try a different driver or different video card for a bit and see if the problems don't go away.
I've done that. One thing though. I downed the FSB to 100MHz and the PC seemed to lose all stability problems. It's weird. What could be wrong?
Aggreeing with RTT... RAM is the source of a *lot* of instability problems. Run memtest and I'll bet you'll get some errors.
BINGO! My friend and RTT were right - the chipset was overheating and couldn't cope with 133MHz FSB. I took off the HS, cleared the dust, unclogged the fan a little and put on some thermal goop and the system appears to be relatively stable
