    Hello friends.

First I would like to apologize for my English and introduce myself, I am Vincent de Barcelona Spain.

A long time ago that I follow and I am delighted with everything I read, in fact my project was born of your pages and as is almost finished, I would like to submit, if I may.

Everything was born from a dream, I wanted a big pc and everything is inside.

The idea is to build it completely from scratch, 100% aluminum.

I hope your permission for the presentation of the project ...

    thank you very much

good photos of the main model

Hello I started doing my first mod from scratch with the preparations and plans to make the box myself etc etc ... the program used for this purpose was the "pencil and papel.com" hehehehe .... Then I discovered Google SketchUp and use it later to make some tweaks to the main MOD.

As the house begins from the ground up and not screw up, I started making a model scale 1 / 1 wood and cardboard. I did not want the rush could **** when something cuts the main material.

Little by little I'll tell how it was all down to as I have now, so get to work, I hope not to bore anyone with my stuff.

In this first phase, which I did, as I said was to mount the box in cheap materials (strips of wood and cardboard)

Then I was putting a fake parts have a little space relation-how could be all set.

In the end I decided that this was the best, but now with time I realized that the source is much better down, so **** at first sight .... Now I can not change it. grrrrrr

This will be the front screen (the little ones) temp reading, four of 12 Ventis front, two recorders, and the elongated control the fan rpm.

This is to give you an idea of the size of the box .

As you know, I real-size pieces to put in place and see how it left.

Here go the hard drives behind the front fans and two fans behind to help put more air into the box

Well, that's it for today ....

As you see in this picture, now I am doing as an extra compartment inside the box, to disguise the readers and all the electronics? Nica front panel cables etc. more

As you can see the space that is hidden inside the box is large enough to accommodate all the necessary components.

Back of the box with the fan holes ... see all three online at this location from inside the box for a triple anger RL

Placement of clamping bars of the plate ....
At this point I was a bit special when placing the plate, I mean.
And separated from the original status (glued to the side wall) that I get with that extra space for fans to blow also behind the plate for this all refrigerated.

Well, with the work of the model and I will not expand more, so we turn to big words.
From now comes the task of passing the model to the core material .... As I was missing some tools, I went to an industrial supply house to find what I needed and get to work.
What do the numbers first and cut the bars of 15 x 15 .... A few sergeants and some wooden blocks were enough for all the bars come out equal.

    hours later ....

Now is when it comes to the fine work, look for the center to the X to marry the holes made in the bars, if not screw when the adjustment would be displaced and would be imperfect ... when you do all this with numerical or machinery laser is made in a flash, but I all that I have not, so you have to use patience and ingenuity.
In my case, I mount guides with other pieces of bar and put the "L" of the bars to make holes at once. If you look at the picture, the bottom of the hole is the other hooked to this .... To be hiciesen two holes at once ..

A few hours later we have completed the two frameworks

And a few hours later, the skeleton is now ready

you should throw away the metal skeleton and just use the cardboard one and continue working on the cardboard one. it would be something quite new

and, beginning with the concept plan to continue carton, but eventually deforms

I think not bear the weight of hardware

as I first thought to do so, but then I realized that deforms the cardboard and move to aluminum

We measure the panels and we are preparing to cut ...

For the break is clean (in what may be) and straight, guides helped me make it easier ...

I'm standing in the hole .... And make the holes by removing the remains

And a few short hours later .....

I had to cut these pieces of rod to fix the plates, as you will see by the arrangement of the skeleton, needed supports for them.

The good thing about this box is that you can remove if you want whole, in pieces, without one affecting the other?

    installation of the power 1050W

A small idea for you to see what we have to extend all the wiring

Measures and cutoff points of the rear fans.

All holes made for the fans ..

All fans on a silicone grommets to prevent vibration ...

Now it's time to put the rings on the front fans to give effect to the reactor inlet air.

I found these rings by chance on a client of mine who is engaged in manufacturing parts for the hospitality industry. These hoops are a few cameras handling of infectious, those who stick your hands in gloves and play with things without touching them, do not know what I mean, are at the entry of arms .... Well when I saw I thought they were appropriately sized and asked the manager if he gave me four and gave me no problems, when you get home and measured, it appeared that not on purpose, only an inch wider than 12cm fans, so perfect.

Because they are 1 mm wider holes you have to hand, for my crown does not make such a move.
