    Evidence? OK.

In the Jordi Chandler case, it was revealed that whilst he was performing dental work on his own son he used sodium amytal, a sedative long discredited by the medical community for its ability to make those under the influence of it open to suggestion. He then asked his son leading questions regarding his time at the Neverland Ranch.

Evan Chandler was also recorded admitting this was all about stinging Jacko for money because he had become jealous of the close, familial bond the Jacko had formed with his son.

    Jacko settled because:

    a) it would have been cheaper than continuing the trial and proving his innocence.

    b) he was in seriously bad health due to the stress the trial had placed upon him and there was concern that he might not survive to the end of the trial had it continued.

In the Gavin Arvizo case again, it was all a very brazen attempt to try and extort money. Janet Arvizo, who has on at least one occasion managed to extort money by getting an out of court settlement (J.C. Penny) most likely figured that if the Chandlers could get away with it, so could she.

During the Arvizo trial, the prosecution did not manage to put forward a single solid piece of evidence or witness testimony that wasn't immediately torn to shreds by Jacko's legal team. I think it's very telling that the Arvizo's choice of lawyer to fight this case was the same one who represented the Chandler family and got the out of court settlement, a lawyer well known for taking on suspect 'compensation' claims.

I'm sure I mentioned that the only semi-credible witness accounts the prosecution could come up with were from a group of disgruntled former employees who were seeking revenge on Jacko for a court case they lost against him years ago and the testimony given by the Arvizo family themselves, which was massively contradictory and quite suspect as the father admitted that Janet Arvizo 'often rehearsed the kids so that they would corroborate her stories'.

From a show I honestly cannot stand, but damn these two were good. A fitting tribute I feel.

OK, regarding the first case, that's not particularly strong evidence, and I could show you evidence that says the young kid relatively accurately described Jackson's genitals.

Neither the evidence for or against is strong enough to say he definitely did or didn't and I guess that's that, but honestly, I can't be bothered to argue anymore. It's friday after all. So shall we just agree to disagree?

Regarding the latter half of your post, once again, I already said I thought that was a moneyspinner. So no bones there.

Regardless of all this, i'll still dance to his songs but won't mourn him. I hope that's fair.

Jacko was a perfectionist when it came to the choreography in his videos and it shows.

In the Thriller video, the timing is so spot on that when all the zombies jump in the air, you can actually draw a perfectly straight line under their feet.

Proves nothing, except possibly that they changed in the same dressing room when coming out of the pool. And how accurately can you describe genitals anyway?

Jackson was a very damaged dude. He was in many ways arrested in his development and I suspect that his relationship with children lacked appropriate adult-to-child boundaries because he saw himself as their equal, rather than as an adult who has a position of power over them, and hence responsibility to maintain appropriate boundaries. He came from a background of a big family growing up in a cramped household with siblings sharing beds and having little, if any, personal privacy. I suspect that he had inappropriately close relationships with these children but not sexually close ones.

But hey, he was a weirdo, and a freak. What's more he was a rich, famous freak. That is likely to generate some resentment in people who feel a bit inadequate. Like, say, parents who do not have an appropriate emotional relationship with their own kids and will happily use them as a tool and put them through the ordeal of a sex trial to get some money from the freak. Just step on the stand and say what daddy told you to say. It'll be our little secret...

Its a shame while he was alive he was remembered more for his behaviour, his odd childish personality and how he acted - Rather than his music.
I cant recall the last time people talked to him about his music; "what inspired this song? Where do you get your ideas?"
Instead they focused on his personal life and little by little the worlds media found someone they could exploit just for their own personal gain.

So he was childish at heart, I feel like that at times. If i was a millionaire and could afford anything, hell maybe i would do the same things he did. He had a damaged childhood and maybe that holds some truth as to why he was the way he is.

But now that hes gone I sit here wondering why we didnt try to extract more from why he really was famous; his music.

what made him tick, his artistic talent, his vision and ideas....we know very little about his music and where it came from now and the many chances we had to findout about this talent were blown on pointless exploitations of his personal life.

My wife walked back from work today. From every shop she passed she could hear the radio playing a Michael Jackson tune. Every car that drove past had Michael Jackson playing on the car radio. The sun was shining and his music was everywhere, and for that moment the world just a little bit more cheerful.

    Let that be his euligy.

I don't believe in an afterlife, but I hope he finds more peace in death than he did in life. RIP Michael, your music will be with us always.

My view is that he died of an overdose and was the biggest crack cocaine addict of the 20th century.

its out there now, we all have to live with it.
