    Yup, me too.

You can tell it's the same engine with texture upgrades. Some of the old textures remain so I hope they're gonna change those.

Also will have to get rid of the default 3rd person view. It's not a console game after all.

Works well with my x52 pro.

Tried a few of the landing missions and the gold collecting. Gold collecting is quite fun on the tougher mission.

    SLI scaling works well.

FPS above 100 on my setup.

Graphics similar but some of textures better res. Runways look much better. FSX with some of the scenery mods beat it I would say but this FLIGHT engine is smooth. Absolutely no visual stuttering at all.

Ocean looks better than FSX default but is not animated yet.

Battlefield 3 ocean is light years ahead.

Up close the ground textures look straight out of FSX. Terrain detail also quite crude close up.

Texture details not fitting terrain in some places so u get the old badly fitting rivers if u know what I mean (just like FSX).

So far I would say it's FSX with texture and engine enhancements but nothing like they showed on the pre-release vids. Flying low over realistic ocean? No. Static ocean.

Flying feels nice and the scenery looks good from high as it did with FSX.

Ooo, I thought MS dropped the Flight Sims completely? May have to look into this.

After a few flights i have discovered what i had previously learned in racing games...

I probably shouldn't be allowed near anything with an engine... because i will crash it...

Looks terrible, hopefully this is either FSX or the graphics will be improved a hell of a lot before release.

It's still essentially FSX from what I can tell since I've been running it. It's nothing like the ORBX scenery that's for sure. It's running in DX9 at the moment with no ultra settings. Just low, med and high.

So unless it's an official Video from Microsoft, don't expect anything.

"sign up for gamertag now for

Access to new and exciting content, including:
    New aircraft
    New missions and challenges
    New scenery and geographical locations
    Customizations and enhancements
    Your own personal Pilot Profile
    Record your game achievements
Play online and share achievements with your friends
Free support for the Microsoft Flight in-game experience
    "

gamertag link takes you to xbox page and there is no signup because it's moved. I don't think they're doing themselves any favours by tying PC gamers to crappy xbox console. I personally don't want to signup for anything related to xbox.
