   Do these laptops, the surfaces and the macbooks use Nvidia MAX-Q tech (aka Nvidia heavy throttling in exchange for practicality-Q)?

   Screen res is too high for that 1060...if you plan on using it as a gaming laptop, which of course, I accept is not its primary function or target audience.
