News Microsoft fights to render digital signatures invalid

    LINDOWS.COM CEO's pet project, the MSFreePC.com web site, which offers Microsoft customers a free PC loaded with LindowsOS among other freebies in exchange for processing the settlement claims against Microsoft on behalf of the individual users, is under attack by a team of rabid Vollish lawyers.

    We are not Nostradamus, but we predicted this would happen. What we didn't expect is that it would take Microsoft one month to react, as the MSFreePC.com has been, to our knowledge, operating uninterrupted for the last month, since Microsoft fired the first round of legal ammunition.

    According to the San Diego Linux company, Microsoft has now submitted a motion in a California court asking Judge Paul H. Alvarado to "block consumers from using digital signatures for claims and reject all claims that have been previously completed".
