    From ZDNet:

Microsoft released the final code of Office 2003 to manufacturing on Tuesday -- five days after details of the new Office suite leaked online.

Retail versions will be available on 21 October, according to Microsoft -- three days before Amazon originally said the software would be released. Amazon has now corrected the details on its UK site.

Anybody going to upgrade? I can't see myself doing so - Office 2000 still works for me.

I still use 2000, and it does more than I could ever need.

Only way I'll upgrade is if my dad's work upgrades, then I'll go ahead and shell out the $$$.

They are charging a prety penny for that, though. I am so happy I get student discount :D

Same here. 2000 works perfectly and most places use it too, so gurenteed compatibility.
