From what I can tell (and keep in mind, I'm not a patent lawyer), it looks like Microsoft has gotten a patent on is to create a customizable web page based on what you want. For instance, on weather.com, you can set the site so that when you visit it, instead of a general weather page, you get one based on your location. Another site would be customizing a news site so that it shows only the news your interested in. In other words, dynamically generated sites based on user input. I may be reading this wrong, but that's what I'm seeing...
Ahh. Bet people will get pissed as it could be classed as an infringement on their site when people get directed elsewhere.
