    Why is Win 7 unsafe, given it's been patched fairly regularly? 10 got a lot of grief when it came out, to the point where I actively installed 7 over and above it whenever building a system (I did admittedly tend to put 10 on a separate partition for completeness), but after using 10 more regularly I have to say I don't really notice the difference these days.

    I think it was more the frequent reports of 10 spying on you that put me off, although I believe these issues are mostly in the past now...?

    These days any peace of technology that is connected to internet is spying on you. It only matter to people who have something to hide.
